Happy Birthday, Yukari!

Better (one day) late then never.

Yukari turned a mighty 19 years old yesterday (18th). Take a look at her blog for a picture of a great Zipper/Halcali white chocolate cake she got.

In other blog related news, scroll down to Haruka's entry on the 17th to see her mention, again, that they're in the middle of recording.

Album three before Christmas?

This from the blog of Tomoyuki Tanaka (aka Fantastic Plastic Machine)

HALCALIの二人にもばったり会いました。今年後半リリース予定の彼女達のニューアルバムでも新曲を一曲プロデュース予定です。
I
just bumped into the Halcali girls. I’m going to be producing a song on their new
album, which is going to be released later this year.

後半 means the latter half of the year, but considering that we’re already in the 7th month, exactly when this will be is anyone’s guess. If the recording that Halcali mentioned doing a few months ago with Nakamura will be the next single, perhaps we can expect that before October and the album before Christmas? If the album were released then, it would put it roughly two years after No Susume hit the shops.

Good news about Tanaka isn’t it? Otsukare Summer was a great track on an album full of great tracks, and with Halcali’s best post-For Life collaborator on board too (anyone reading this who still hasn’t heard the TTT and TS b-sides, do it soon), fingers crossed it will be something special. That still leaves another question though.

What became of O.T.F?

A million thanks to Patrick for the information. Now go read Chipple!
