Halcali vs....?

Continuing my eternal quest to make myself useful, here's a link to Godzilla Is Coming To Town!, a Bank$ song featuring H and Y. I made a query about the song a while ago, which brian gracefully answered.

It's an odd song, perhaps slightly too long (?) and with no obvious chorus. It's fun though, and the girls sound as slick as they ever have on it. Don't they sound so much more at home with stuff like this?

The download link went dead, but just leave a comment if you'd like to listen.

Speaking of one-offs,does anyone have the track Halcali contributed to the Magokoro COVERS album? I'd love to hear it...

Just wait for the PV! Maybe they'll tap dance in it.

That would make everything alright again. :)

Maybe if they were dressed as Xmas trees and tap dancing...
I wonder if For Life will release the later PVs on DVD,or for that matter, any Halcali odds and ends they still have lying around?

Good question!
I also wonder if there will be a coupling track for Tip Taps Tip......wasn't there word of a new song called 'Twinkle Star' or something like that a while back?

Hi, yesterday I bought a new title from 阿部嘉昭 called "少女機械考" because it included one whole chapter dedicated to Halcali. The chapter's title is '商品性と少女性の連接―ハルカリについて'. It is a critique on them in the "Halcali Bacon" era.

Though the author reads too much into the duo sometimes, and though the editor overlooked some factual errors, the discussion quite interested me. What excited me the most was the argument that the author defines Halcali as "personified hope" (or whatever the phrase "希望体" stands for).

Please take a look if you are interested.

By the way, ‘愛’ on Magokoro COVERS album and that on Halcalimix (remix) are identical.

Well it's listed as a maxi single, which should mean that there will be at least 3 tracks-hopefully not all remixes of Tip Taps Tip.

OOO! I'm smart!
I went to the Sony Music Japan website, and looked for HALCALI.
HERE:
http://sonymusic.co.jp/Music/Arch/ES/HALCALI/index.html

They have their own little page!

The single will have the following tracks:
1. Tip Taps Tip
2. Halcali'n'bass
3. ピスドリ (PISUDORI)
4. Tip Taps Tip (instrumental)

There is also a little blurb about them. Anyone wanna translate that? *I can't read Kanji*
