I don't know if this is accurate, but...

I just read on 2ch that It's Party Time only made it to (or is currently at, shall we say) #139.

Can anyone confirm this?

UPDATE

Yes. Sadly, unbelievably, it's true.

Thanks to amj.

That's pretty good, considering that their last two singles peaked at 173 (LOOK) and 195 (Tougenkyou). :)

Make a note of this URL:

Yes, as you can see, the 139 position is correct. And for the record:

Look - number 82
桃源郷 - number 87

Ugh. Not surprising at all though. I think the main issue is distribution here. I literally biked to every CD shop in the Kanazawa area looking for Its Party Time and no one was selling it. The best I could find was that one store had it for rent.

Kanazawa isnt Tokyo huge, but it is one of the bigger cities on the west coast of Japan. You would think SOMEONE would be selling Halcali there. I am still upset that I havent been able to buy this single yet. If I had been able to find it maybe it would have been #138!

novaforever-
The exact same thing happened to me- even the places where I had bought Halcali singles in the past didn't have it, and I was told I would have to order it.
Tower had it, of course, but alongside the usual lack of marketing (although they were on Pop Jam) it's possible distribution was lacking too.

sora- thanks a million!
