Halcali on Getsumen Mina (or not)

As I'm sure you know by now, the new Halcali/Cubismo Grafico collaboration, Lights, Camera, Action! was supposed to feature as the opening theme song to the new Fuji TV anime Getsumen To Heiki Mina.

However, for reasons even a search round the internet can't clarify, appartantly the opening theme song wasn't broadcast as scheduled. Mysterious.

(I did find this on Youtube. Presumably this is LCA!, although the sound quality is so bad, it's hard to tell)

Do you mean that the show wasn't broadcast, or just the Halcali song wasn't in there?

Despite the crappyness of the video, you can definitely tell its Halcali.
Can't wait to hear a decent quality version of it.

Sorry, I meant that the Halcali song was missing. I'll fix the post.

Yeah from what I heard the first episode didn't have the opening animation. Just the closing. This is disapointing. I already promised my friend I would watch this episode with him just because HALCALI was doing the opening. Now I have to sit through this show... oh well. They should be doing the opening for the rest of it.

novaforever- Will you be able to watch the show next Saturday? It's a Tokyo broadcast, and I found out it wont be aired here. If you could capture the opening and put it on youtube or just share it in some way that would be great!

Yeah sure. As soon as I can get a raw of it i'll cut the opening out and pop it on youtube. No problem!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this already or not, but I stumbled across an Excite Music HALCALI interview.
It was done for the release of LOOK, and has a ton of great pictures of the girls.

I can't translate, but the pics are awesome. :D

There are also two video interviews with the girls from that link.
At the top of the page where it says "1M HIGH" next to the real and WMP icons.

Hey, I bought the 2007 Spring/Summer catalog for Bathing Ape and guess who's in there to model BAPE clothing? Yups, none other than Halcali. I don't have access to a scanner, so I'll try to take a photo and submit it to you. To what email address should I send it?

ooh, I'll have to check out the videos too :P

Also, about what this post is actually about:
Today, Sony posted that Lights, Camera. Action! will start airing on the anime on January 20th. Tomorrow.

I guess the first episode just didn't have the opening animation, but the rest will....o_O

Sorry for the late reply

CaffeineNicotine- we'd love to see that! dont worry about the scanner, just take the best picture you can. It might be best if you just upload it to imageshack or another picture hosting site like that and then just post the link here. Then I can make a post with it in.

sora kara and cobs- I think I made a post about that a while ago. It was the interview where they said they'd be releasing the third album spring/summer this year

novaforever- looking forward to it! Let us know when you put it up.

I don't know how I feel about this song yet. It's... mellow? I dunno. I don't really like the refrain. Well maybe it'll grow on me.

Thanks for the video. I'll wait til i've heard the whole song before I make up my mind. I didn't really like LOOK that much when I first heard the teaser but after hearing it completely, plus the video, I liked it more.

thanks so much!

Hm...at first they sounded kinda bored. At least they were rapping though. MWAHAHA.

The chorus is fairly catchy. I found myself tapping my toes.
It seems to be pretty light weight.
Cute thus far.
